Marko T. Dasigenis, AIA has extensive experience in design and construction of high-rise buildings around the world. After graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington with a BA in Architecture in 1983, he worked in the offices of Welton Becket and Kohn, Pedersen, Fox & Conway. He joined the New York office of Philip Johnson and John Burgee Architects in 1988 as a designer and Project Manager of large mixed-use developments. In that office, and under the guidance of Philip Johnson, he honed his architectural skills, working on projects throughout the world. Among other projects, he managed the design and construction of International Place, a 2 million square foot office and retail development in the heart of the Boston Central Business District.

Mr. Dasigenis continued collaboration with the New York office when he founded Ktisis in Kuala Lumpur to create skyscraper designs and supervise the construction of large scale mixed-use development projects in Malaysia. Such projects include the five star, 528 room Guoman Hotel and 46 story office tower, as well as Damansara Center which is a 6 million suqre foot urban lifestyle center. In 1997, he returned to Houston and joined the Ziegler Cooper architectural firm as Associate Principal and Studio Manager. At Ziegler Cooper, Mr. Dasigenis managed the design and construction of projects including Kinkaid School Center for Student Life and Fine Arts, JP Morgan Chase Call Centers, Encore Bank branches and Aspen Technology Building.

In 2004 Mr. Dasigenis opened his own architectural studio, Opsis Architecture, designing commercial, residential and office buildings as well as several interior design projects. Mr. Dasigenis has been principal at Opisis Architecture until his firm was joined with that of Philip Johnson/ Alan Ritchie Arcthitects in 2010. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the Texas Society of Architects (TSA).
