Duane Schrempp, AIA

With a diversified background, Duane Schrempp has had a responsible role on some of the firm's most notable projects. Currently completing work for the Chrysler center, he has coordinated the implementation of this project from conceptual design through construction administration, final review and occupancy. Since joining the firm in 1988, projects in which he has been directly responsible include, Trump International Hotel and Tower, 59th Street Columbus Circle Subway Entrance, and The Riverside South Residential Development, all in New York, NY.

Previously with the firm, Duane Schrempp was the project manager for three, eleven-story, luxury, apartment buildings in Madrid; and coordinated the construction documents for the curtain wall of the twin, twenty-five story, office towers. In 1994, he also completed the construction documents for the renovation and addition of two important civic projects designed by Philip Johnson; the Amon Carter Museum and Thanksgiving Square, both located in Texas.

Prior to joining the firm he was project designer for the Chemical Research Laboratory building completed on the Washington State University Campus, in 1988. He was also involved with design and planning for a proposed Laboratory Science Building for the College of Staten Island, New York, with Ulrich Franzen & Associates Architects, in 1987. Building on this experience in the college and institutional setting, Duane Schrempp is currently project architect for a 40,000 s.f. addition to the Drexel University School of Business in Philadelphia.
